🌟 Glyphic's Security Rated 'Excellent' in Penetration Test! 🛡️

Expert hackers from Oneleet (YC S22) put our defences to the test, and assessed Glyphic's security as Excellent. Here's what we learned:

🤔 What is penetration testing?

A penetration test (or pen test) is essentially a controlled cyber-attack against our system to identify vulnerabilities. Oneleet's security experts simulate real-world attack scenarios to evaluate our defences, in accordance with industry-standard methodologies like OWASP WSTG, OWASP ASVS, and the OWASP Top-10.

🕵️ The pen test process

First our systems spent a week undergoing this rigorous testing. The testers dug deep into our frontend and backend, uncovering areas for improvement, and reporting any issues they find.

We then had to addressing each finding: to do this, we organised a team hackathon so all our Engineers could get together, learn about the tools and tests that the pen testers perform, and fix the issues together.

After our remediation efforts, the pen testers retested and gave us a clean report ✨
